Monochromatic Card

Hello craftivators!
Today I’ll be showing you how I created this amazing blue monochromatic card. And if you didn’t know, blue is my favorite color.
This is one of those simple cards which was so easy to create but look really cool once done and I just love how it turned out. I created this card for the ‘Monochrome Challenge’ conducted by a Facebook group named ‘The Craft Doctor’.

Step by step process:

1. At first I watercolored the piece of watercolor paper with blue ‘Ecoline brush pen’ watercolor markers.
2. Then I stamped the twin roses and some leaves on a separate piece of watercolor paper and again watercolored it.
3. I then randomly stamped the background with some text and circle stamps and some ‘Range by Tim Holtz Distress Ink’ of the shade ‘Chipped Sapphire’. I absolutely love this shade.

4. I thought the background needed something more. So that’ when I splattered some diluted blue paint over the top and also added a few dros of ‘viva glass effect’gel for some texture.

5. Finally I glued the focal point on the top, added the sentiment with the same distress ink and attached the card panel with the card base, which is a navy blue cardstock & voila! The card is ready.
